Sugar Valley Old Pump Truck
The Homes Association still maintains an older Sewage Pump Truck. The Association uses their pump trucks to pump out the sewage holding tanks of some of the the nearly 4000 lake lots owned by the property owners at Sugar Valley Lakes and Hidden Valley lakes. These trucks are operated by employees of the Association. With the growing number permanent residents at SVL and HVL the operators are kept quite busy thought the year, even during those winter months when non-residents are away from the lake area. The operators are supervised by the management and the extensive recordkeeping is performed by the bookkeeping staff at the clubhouse. Expenses such as employee salaries, gasoline, insurance, maintenance, and lagoon dumping fees are paid by the Association. The Association is able to provide this exterior maintenance service for only $40 per pumping, much less than area commercial providers. All of our members should be proud of all of the employees who provide these services to us on a year around basis. This is an example where our Assessment dollars are used along with the pumping fee to provide a much needed and necessary service. All members should call the Association Management and thank them for this service!
