New Bus Barn

The Association should be proud of the new shed they have recently build.  At first glance, one would assume that this is some type of security shed.  However, this is actually a shed where the children of the permanent residents are sheltered from harsh weather while waiting for the school bus. There is another similar shed at the rear entrance for the children who live there.

One member recently argued that the Homes Association should not be providing this type of facility because it does not benefit the entire membership.  He argued that the permanent residents  should be building facilities with their own money.  The other side of the argument is of course, that any member can use these sheds since they are on common property.  Another argument is that there is nothing prevent all of us from moving to the lake and sending our children to the local school.  It is up for each member to decide whether the Homes Association should be providing facilities that may not benefit the entire membership.
